Saturday October 27th was……..

Hallowe'en

At

The Sandridge Hotel

Newquay

YES! Saturday October 27th was our Hallowe'en party at that most FABULOUS of venues in the South West, The Sandridge Hotel in Newquay.

Back by popular request following the success of The Sandridge Summer Fancy Dress Ball, were Mark and Jamie, also known as The Delightful, The Wonderful, The Delectable, Miss Debonair and Titch. Once again, it was a fancy dress party and this time the theme was…….. The Rocky Horror Picture Show…… My, what a party, the COSTUMES, the PARTYGOERS, the FUN and LAUGHTER…..

Here are just a few photos taken that night.

Nicki, Debs, Danielle,Toni, Katie and Joanne, ready to rock 'n roll... waiting for the taxi..

At The Sandridge, Sheryl, lovely girl with a cleavage never to be forgotten, but whose name I can't recall, and Fran....

Stevie, who was made up on the night by Miss Debonair, pictured with Phil......

Debs dancing with daughters Danielle and Toni....

Mikey, another example of Miss Debonair's makeover on the night. Is she having a good time???

Stevie, again....

And Amanda.....

And Fran....

And here's Nicki, tart of tarts, flirting with Ashley. Isn't he LOVELY ??

Soon the witching hour approached and it was

Cabaret

Time

Here is Nicki getting ready to 'do her hostess' bit. (Why did the photographer cut off my legs!!)

Here is Titch - look at the makeup!!....

Miss Debonair, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Queen Bitch of the Seas.....

Titch again... dancing to Queen, going MAD

And Miss D - losing her hair..... (and her mind (doing Liza Minelli)

And more hair.....

Then on came Titch to give a fabulous rendition of 'Sweet Transvestite.....

Followed by another number by.......

Miss Debonair

Then the party really got underway with the Disco Divas performing The Time Warp..........................

And before you knew what was happening, EVERYONE was Time Warping, Pelvic Thrusting and being driven Totally Insay-ay-ay-ne

What an incredibly FABULOUS night!!. All too soon the party was over and our mini-cab arrived to take us home. Quite what the other passengers with whom we shared the return journey made of us I'm not quite sure. They were just innocent teenage boys and girls who fell asleep while we partied on. One thing of which I'm sure, our evening in Newquay was far more memorable than theirs!! Youngsters today - they just can't seem to stand the pace!!

One last thing before I close and that is to say a special thank you to The Disco Divas for doing the Cabaret at our party and also to say how nice it was of Miss Debonair's parents, Ray and Lynne, who are a lovely couple, to come down with them and join in this FABULOUS celebration.

More pics to follow as soon as they become available. Watch this space!
